Pizza with the Pastor
New to Harpeth Heights? Join us for Pizza with the Pastor TODAY from 12:00–12:45 p.m. in the Welcome Center. Enjoy free pizza, connect with Pastor Brandon Hays, and get to know others who are new to our community. We’d love to see you there!
Crafts for Missions
Join us on Monday, August 10, from 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. in the Harpeth Heights Gym for a meaningful day of creativity and fellowship, with a lunch break at 11:30 a.m. We’ll work on mission-focused projects like sewing, crocheting, jewelry making, card writing, and more—most supplies are provided, and all skill levels are welcome. Come learn a new craft, share your skills, or simply enjoy being together as we serve through creativity.
Student Worship and Water Slide Night
Students are invited to kick off the school year on Wednesday, August 12, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. with a night of worship, teaching, pizza, and water slides. Incoming 6th graders are welcome; bring your friends and join us for a fun and meaningful night together!
Student Ministry Parent Meeting
Get the full scoop on Wednesday Nights and fall activities at a parent meeting on Sunday, August 16, from 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m., right after service. Whether your student is new to the ministry or returning, this hour is your chance to meet the Student Ministry team and get the details you need for the year ahead.
Wednesday Nights at Harpeth Heights
Wednesday Night activities are back starting August 19, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. — note the new start time! Join us for Worship Choir, Students, IMPACT (preschool and kids), and The Table (previously Midweek Word).
Wednesday Night Dinner at Harpeth Heights
New this fall—join us for dinner before Wednesday night activities, from 5:15–6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, starting on August 19. Dinner is $5 per person. Please register each week so we know how much food to order; childcare will not be provided during dinner.
Mobile Food Pantry
Join us for a Mobile Food Pantry on Friday, August 28, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at the Harpeth Heights Gym and Parking Lot as we serve individuals and families in our community who need food support. This is also a meaningful opportunity for the Harpeth Heights family to serve together through setup beginning at 8:00 a.m., food distribution, and cleanup as we connect with neighbors.
Leadership Nominations
God is at work across our nine campuses, growing His church throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond as we fuel a disciple-making, church-multiplying movement engaging the whole person with the whole gospel. We need strong leaders to carry that vision forward; we’re accepting nominations now through Sunday, August 16, for our Trustees, Finance Ministry Team, Staff Resource Team, and Campus Advisory Team. Quarterly Business Report
In the third quarter of FY2026, the Trustees gathered for prayer, discussion, and decision-making around key strategic initiatives, including staff structure and role changes, updates on the Pursue Campaign, and future capital and ministry vision planning. During this quarter, 73 new members joined our church family, 96 people made professions of faith, and 58 were baptized. Average worship attendance reached 7,505, with 7,851 people engaged in groups.
Exploring Your Call
Do you sense God may be calling you into vocational ministry? Join us Tuesdays, August 18–September 8, from 6:00–7:30 p.m., for Exploring Your Call. This is a four-week study for anyone prayerfully weighing that next step: engaging in meaningful conversations about calling, character, spiritual gifting, and practical next steps in a Christ-centered, encouraging environment.
Coaching Foundations
Join us Friday, August 21, from 1:00–8:00 p.m. (dinner included), and Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (lunch included), at the Brentwood Campus Welcome Center, as we explore what coaching is, how it differs from mentoring and counseling, and how coaching conversations can make you a more effective leader. This ICF-accredited course is essential for every leader and a prerequisite for our advanced class, Coaching Relationships.
