Mission Journeys: Pray, Share, and Go!

We have an exciting opportunity for you to hear from two of our recent mission teams, pray together, and discuss mission journeys planned for 2023. Join us for snacks in the Fellowship Hall today, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. and hear how our teams saw God at work in Rogersville, Tennessee and in Belize.

Foster Families Care Closet Collection

Our Foster Family Care Closet will open soon to assist foster parents in Davidson County and surrounding areas. Now – February 26, we are collecting new items such as blankets, baby clothes of all sizes, and clothes for boys and girls through size 10. Gently used baby equipment, toys, and scooters also accepted.

Love Your Neighbor

Families of elementary and preschool children are invited to come together at noon on Sunday, February 12, to share a meal and help with a service project. This is a great way to model loving our neighbors to the next generation! Please register by Wednesday, February 8, so we know how many helping hands we will have.

Prayer and Card Ministry

We are called to encourage one another and to pray for each other. Our Prayer and Card Ministry does both by praying together and writing cards for those who need support. We would love for you to join us! We meet at 9:30 a.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the Harpeth Heights campus. Hope to see you there!

Pray for Our Students & DNOW

Please be in prayer for God to move among our students during the weekend event, DNOW. This discipleship-focused event is meant to help students learn how truly follow Jesus and be unashamed of the gospel. Pray the Lord will reveal Himself in mighty ways, and for His truth to take root in the next generation!

Mobile Food Pantry

Our first Mobile Food Pantry of 2023 is on Friday, February 24. Our mobile events help serve about 300 families with enough groceries for one to two weeks and are a tangible way for us to share Christ’s love with our neighbors. We need volunteers to help with set up, food distribution, and cleanup. Pray about how God would have you serve and register below.

February Prayer Focus

During the month of February, we will be praying for Mac and Grace, our global workers in Canada. Mac pastors the Point Church in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the couple feel called to be a city on a hill, sharing the light of the gospel in their area.

Christian Coaching Certification

Christian coaching provides a safe setting where the person being coached can verbally process life issues that do not require therapy to move toward solutions and actions. Brentwood Baptist Church offers a certification in Christian Coaching through the Middle Tennessee Leadership Institute – Center for Christian Coaching.
